University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) Dehradun is known as UPES and located in Dehradun. The university was established by the UPES Act in 20023. UPES has been granted approval by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is also affiliated with the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
